‘Furie’ is a Vietnamese film which was released in 2019 and directed by Lê Văn Kiet. The film raked in $5.8 million in the box office in the first two weeks once released which broke the record for the highest-grossing Vietnamese film in history (https://english.vietnamnet.vn, 2019).

Okay, right off the bat ‘Furie’ was one of the best movies I’ve ever watched for educational purposes. Although, it is still early days I found myself relying a lot less on the subtitles, but still grasping onto the plot of the film through sound effects, camera angles/shots, lighting, facial expressions, hand gestures, body language and various other cinematic film techniques.
