I don’t want to beat around the bush with this one- I did not enjoy the episodes I watched of this show.

I probably have seen more anime/ Japanese television and media than I have of the other cultures and even so my experience is quite limited.

I briefly learnt Japanese in high school, so I have a preliminary understanding of the culture and customs, however I feel like this understanding is probably not that useful in developing a thorough understanding of Japanese culture.

I do enjoy watching cartoons, so it was nice to have a change of visuals for this last week’s screening. I think cartoons (obviously) change the watching experience and initially I thought that this would be light-hearted and for kids- boy was I wrong.
