For my BCM320: Digital Asia Week 8 post, we have been tasked to reflect on our Autoethnographic Week 5 post using the reading ‘Autoethnography: An Overview’ by Ellis et al. This post will be doing as such and analyse the experience shared through my blog post.
I have been a wrestling fan for the majority of my life, and I plan on being one for the foreseeable future. I also was very interested in a lot of Japanese culture and in what they offer to entertainment through music and screen media. So when I discovered the insane world of Japanese wrestling I was hooked from the very start. The first match I watched being Kazuchika Okada vs Katsuyori Shibata had me so emotional, I had to watch the whole feud.
