My autoethnographic update on ‘Experience Asia’

Since my last post I have visited the Nan Tien Temple and the Chinese Garden of Friendship and been able to immerse myself with the Asian culture and understand the history of these admired locations.

I’ve been able to get a heap of photos of these beautiful locations and take my friends and family for a day out. As I do some research before I see the attraction, I am able to pass on what I have found out to my friends and family. Exploring these iconic destinations with other people allows me to share the experience, educating others on some of the Asian influences in Australia. It baffles me how little people know about each place, having heard of the locations, but never actually going to visit them on a day out or researching about the history of them.
